Description

Gratitude Revealed by Louie Schwartzberg gathers reflections from artists, teachers, ordinary people, and public figures to examine gratitude as a lived practice rather than a slogan. Set against Schwartzberg’s signature nature imagery, the film moves through connection, loss, attention, aging, and everyday awareness, asking how gratitude may restore perspective in a culture shaped by fear, distraction, and disconnection. Its spiritual tone is unmistakable, but the documentary stays grounded in human experience, making contemplation, relationships, and emotional presence its real center.

About the Director / Filmmaker

Louie Schwartzberg, director and producer, came out of cinematography first, building a career around patient observation of motion, growth, scale, and pattern. Public biographies repeatedly place him at the forefront of modern time-lapse work, alongside projects such as Wings of Life, Mysteries of the Unseen World, and Moving Art, plus the founding of Energy Film Library. Fantastic Fungi extends an already established visual authorship.

Who It’s Best For

Those who see gratitude as a discipline rather than a slogan will get the most from this. It may also resonate with viewers asking whether attention, meaning, and outlook can be trained instead of merely wished for.

Approach

Intimate conversations, nature imagery, and reflective narration frame gratitude as a practice rather than a passing feeling. Authority comes through testimony, mood, and selected expert commentary, not through rigorous challenge or adversarial testing.
