How To Make

  3. Divide and shape: Cut the dough into four equal sections. Roll each into a log about 4 cm thick, then slice each into 13 pieces.

  4. Form the kruidnoten: Shape each piece into a small ball and arrange them on the baking sheet.

  5. Bake and rest: Bake for 18 minutes. Then turn off the oven, crack the door open, and let them sit inside for 15 more minutes to firm up.

  6. Cool and store: Let the spiced cookies cool fully before serving. Store in the fridge for freshness.
